Deleting your account
Request account deletion by submitting a support ticket or emailing our team directly.
How to request deletion
To delete your Cairn account, submit a support ticket through our Help Center or email support@getcairn.ai with the subject line "Account Deletion Request." Please send the request from the email address associated with your Cairn account so we can verify your identity.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we remove all personal data including your profile information, saved experiences, gear checklists, preferences, and activity history. Shared experiences that other users have saved will have your name anonymized but the content may remain available.
Processing timeline
Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email when the deletion is complete. During the processing period, your account will be deactivated and no longer accessible.
Alternatives to deletion
If you want to take a break from Cairn, consider deactivating your account or simply logging out instead of deleting. You can also downgrade to the free tier if you want to stop paying but keep your data. All your saved experiences and history will remain intact when you return.
