Tushar Mountains

The Tushar Mountains are a rugged mountain range located in south-central Utah, near the town of Beaver. The range is characterized by steep, rocky slopes and high-elevation peaks, with the tallest summit reaching over 12,000 feet. The Tushars are part of the Manti-La Sal National Forest and offer a diverse landscape of alpine meadows, coniferous forests, and rocky, glaciated terrain. The range's remote and relatively undeveloped nature provides excellent opportunities for wilderness exploration and backcountry recreation.
