Tepee Mountains

The Tepee Mountains are a small, isolated mountain range located in western Wyoming. The range is characterized by rugged, granite peaks that rise sharply from the surrounding high-altitude basins and valleys. The terrain is steep and rocky, with numerous cirques, glacial features, and steep-walled canyons carved by glaciers and erosion. Forests of pine, fir, and aspen cover the lower slopes, transitioning to alpine tundra and bare rock near the summits.
