Snowy Range

The Snowy Range is a rugged mountain range located in southeast Wyoming, part of the Medicine Bow National Forest. The range features jagged granite peaks, alpine lakes, and vast subalpine forests. Glaciated valleys and cirques dominate the landscape, formed during the last ice age. Elevations range from around 9,000 feet in the valleys to over 12,000 feet at the highest summits, creating a diverse array of habitats and ecosystems.
