Smoky Mountains

The Smoky Mountains are a subrange of the Rocky Mountains located in central Idaho. The range is characterized by rugged, heavily forested peaks and deep, glacially-carved valleys. Numerous alpine lakes and streams are found throughout the range. The Smoky Mountains feature a diverse array of wildlife including elk, bighorn sheep, and black bears.
