Sierra Blanca

The Sierra Blanca mountain range is located in south-central New Mexico, near the village of Ruidoso. This compact range is part of the Sacramento Mountains and features rugged, volcanic peaks and alpine landscapes. The terrain is characterized by steep, rocky slopes, with numerous canyons, valleys, and high-altitude meadows. The highest point in the range is Sierra Blanca Peak, which rises to an impressive 12,003 feet in elevation.
