Salt River Range

The Salt River Range is a rugged mountain range located in western Wyoming, near the border with Idaho. This range is part of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem and features dramatic granite peaks, alpine lakes, and dense forests. The terrain is characterized by steep, glaciated slopes and deep canyons carved by glaciers. Wildlife is abundant, with populations of grizzly bears, elk, moose, and other species calling the Salt River Range home.
