Salmon River Mountains

The Salmon River Mountains are a rugged and remote mountain range located in central Idaho. This range is part of the Bitterroot Mountain chain and is characterized by steep, rocky slopes, deep canyons, and alpine meadows. The terrain is predominantly granite and metamorphic rock, with numerous jagged peaks and ridges rising above the surrounding valleys. The range is home to a variety of wildlife, including elk, deer, black bears, and the occasional mountain lion.
