Ruby Range

The Ruby Range is a small, rugged mountain range located in southwestern Montana. This compact range is characterized by steep, granite peaks and high alpine basins. The terrain is generally rocky and challenging, with numerous talus slopes, cirques, and alpine meadows. Glaciers and snowfields can be found in the higher elevations, feeding crystal-clear streams and lakes. The range is situated within the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest, providing ample opportunity for outdoor exploration and recreation.
