Red Buttes

The Red Buttes mountain range is a small, remote range located in western Wyoming. Characterized by rugged, reddish-hued peaks and deep canyons, the Red Buttes offer a dramatic and relatively untouched landscape. The terrain is primarily composed of sedimentary rock formations, with steep, rocky slopes and occasional meadows and forests in the valleys. Elevations range from around 7,000 feet in the foothills to over 12,000 feet at the highest summits.
