Ragged Hills

The Ragged Hills are a rugged mountain range located in the northwestern corner of Wyoming. This compact range is characterized by steep, jagged peaks that rise abruptly from the surrounding forests and meadows. The terrain is predominantly alpine, with rocky outcroppings, talus slopes, and glacial cirques carving deep valleys between the summits. Dense subalpine fir and spruce forests cover the lower slopes, giving way to bare rock and snow-capped peaks at the higher elevations.
