Pryor Mountains

The Pryor Mountains are a small but diverse mountain range located in south-central Montana, near the border with Wyoming. The range is characterized by rugged, high-elevation terrain, with several prominent peaks rising above 8,000 feet. The landscape features a mix of steep, rocky slopes, alpine meadows, and forested areas, creating a variety of habitats for wildlife. The Pryor Mountains are home to a number of rare and threatened plant and animal species, including the Bighorn Sheep and the Black-tailed Prairie Dog.
