Pretty Bird Hills

The Pretty Bird Hills are a small, rugged mountain range located in the southeastern corner of New Mexico. The range is characterized by steep, rocky slopes and high-altitude meadows, with elevations reaching over 8,000 feet. The terrain is predominantly composed of sedimentary and volcanic rock, creating a diverse landscape of cliffs, canyons, and alpine tundra. The range is home to a variety of flora and fauna, including ponderosa pine forests, subalpine fir, and wildlife such as black bears, elk, and a variety of bird species.
