Pike Creek Hills

The Pike Creek Hills are a small mountain range located in south-central Montana, just north of the Wyoming border. The range covers approximately 100 square miles and features a rugged, heavily-forested landscape with steep, rocky terrain. Elevations range from around 6,000 feet in the foothills to over 10,000 feet at the highest peaks. The hills are characterized by dense pine and fir forests, alpine meadows, and numerous creeks and small lakes. Wildlife in the area includes elk, mule deer, black bears, and a variety of small mammals and birds.
