Pedro Mountains

The Pedro Mountains are a small mountain range located in central Wyoming. The range extends for approximately 30 miles in a north-south direction and features rugged, granite peaks and ridges. The terrain is steep and mountainous, with many craggy summits and deeply carved glacial valleys. Elevations range from around 7,500 feet in the foothills to over 11,500 feet at the highest peaks. The landscape is characterized by alpine meadows, clear mountain lakes, and dense coniferous forests. Wildlife commonly seen in the range includes elk, mule deer, bighorn sheep, and black bears.
