Muddy Range

The Muddy Range is a modest mountain range located in southeastern Utah, near the border with Colorado. This range is characterized by a rugged, high-desert landscape with deep canyons, steep slopes, and scattered peaks. The geology is primarily sedimentary, with layers of sandstone, shale, and limestone creating the distinct terrain. Pinyon-juniper woodlands and sagebrush dominate the vegetation, providing habitat for a variety of wildlife including mule deer, bighorn sheep, and raptors.
