De Long Mountains

The De Long Mountains are a remote and rugged mountain range located in the northernmost region of Alaska, near the Arctic Ocean. This vast, glaciated landscape is characterized by steep, jagged peaks and deep, U-shaped valleys carved by ancient glaciers. The terrain is predominantly alpine, with tundra vegetation blanketing the lower slopes. The climate is subarctic, with long, cold winters and short, cool summers.
