Achenbach Hills

The Achenbach Hills are a small mountain range located in the northern part of North Dakota. The range is characterized by its rolling, rounded hills and wide valleys, with elevations generally ranging from 1,500 to 2,500 feet above sea level. The hills were formed by glacial deposits left behind during the last ice age, resulting in a landscape dotted with small lakes, ponds, and wetlands.
