The AMC High Huts are a series of eight mountain huts in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Operating since 1888, they offer the only hut-to-hut hiking experience in the northeastern United States, with full-service accommodations including meals.

What to Expect

The Appalachian Mountain Club built the first hut, Madison Spring Hut, in 1888. The system expanded over the decades and now includes eight huts stretching across the Presidential Range and Franconia Ridge, making it the oldest hut system in America.
