Gordon Reese Cabin (Chief Joseph Pass)

Gordon Reese Cabin is a modern rental cabin that serves as a day-use warming hut for cross-country skiers utilizing the Chief Josephs XC Ski Trail System from Dec 2-April 15 each year. Overnight visitors can reserve the cabin for winter and summer use on Recreation.gov. Trails to the cabin are open to foot and horse travel in the summer and ski or snowshoe travel in the winter months. The cabin offers a wood stove, propane cooking stove, propane lights, solar lights, bunk space for 8 people, an outdoor vault toilet and room for 20-30 people on the main floor.
